Associate Professor Dr. Weerapon Thongma, President of Maejo University, together with Assistant Professor Dr. Winitra Leelapattana and Dr. Suthira Sitthikun, Associate Deans of Maejo University International College, attended an academic collaboration meeting with the executive team of Guangxi University of Foreign Languages (GUFL), China, led by Prof. Cai Changzhuo, President of GUFL.
The meeting explored opportunities for joint curriculum development and academic exchange, and both universities officially renewed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) to continue strengthening our long-standing partnership.
During the visit, the Maejo University delegation also toured the UBTECH Intelligent Industrial College, an advanced AI education center of GUFL.
This collaboration reflects Maejo University’s commitment to expanding global partnerships and fostering innovative international education.

The International College, Maejo University, organized a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) Signing Ceremony in collaboration with ECHO Asia Impact Center to strengthen international cooperation in academics, research, and sustainable development.On May 28, 2026, at LC 5, International College, Maejo University, the International College officially held the MOU Signing Ceremony with ECHO Asia Impact Center. The event was attended by university administrators, faculty members, staff, and representatives from both organizations.On this occasion, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rapeephun Dangtungee, Dean of the International College, Maejo University, delivered the welcome remarks and highlighted the importance of academic collaboration and international networking in supporting sustainable educational and social development.In addition, Mr. Patrick Trail shared the vision and future collaborative directions between the two organizations. Dr. Prakash Murgeppa Bhuyar also delivered a presentation on sustainable development approaches and future opportunities for knowledge exchange and joint activities.The signing ceremony marked another significant milestone in strengthening the partnership between the two institutions while promoting academic cooperation, research collaboration, capacity building, and international community engagement for a more sustainable future.
