Associate Professor Dr.Rapeephun Dangtungee Dean of International College, and Dr. Suthira Sitthikun, Associate Deans of the International College, warmly welcomed faculty members and students from Tunghai University.

During their visit, the delegation participated in a Thai cooking workshop held at the International College, Maejo University. The activity focused on the preparation of mango sticky rice and butterfly pea juice, along with a session on folding pandan leaves into decorative floral shapes to enhance the presentation of the dishes.

Throughout the workshop, participants engaged in hands-on practice, starting from ingredient preparation to cooking sticky rice, making coconut milk sauce, and preparing butterfly pea juice using proper techniques. In addition, they learned the art of pandan leaf folding, a distinctive element of Thai cultural heritage.

This activity not only enhanced participants’ culinary skills in Thai cuisine but also promoted a deeper understanding of Thai culture through direct experience. The event left a strong and lasting impression on all attendees.

Maejo University Holds a Ceremony to Offer Best Wishes on the Occasion of Her Majesty Queen Suthida Bajrasudhabimalalakshana’s Birthday Anniversary – June 3, 2026

On Thursday, May 28, 2026,Associate Professor Dr. Rapeephun Dangtungee, Dean of the International College; Assistant Professor Dr. Winitra Leelapattana and Dr. Suthira Sitthikun, Associate Deans of the International College; Mr. Warunsiri Sujinda, Director of the Dean’s Office, International College; and Dr. Watcharanan Thongma, lecturer of the International College, participated in signing the book of well-wishes in honor of Her Majesty Queen Suthida Bajrasudhabimalalakshana on the occasion of Her Majesty’s birthday anniversary on June 3, 2026.The ceremony was presided over by Associate Professor Dr. Weerapon Thongma, President of Maejo University, who led the offering of floral tributes and incense candles before the portrait of Her Majesty the Queen and delivered a message of felicitations. University executives, faculty members, staff, students of Maejo University, members of the Maejo Alumni Association, and representatives from various government agencies also joined in signing the book of well-wishes as an expression of loyalty and gratitude to the monarchy.The ceremony was held at the Phae Phuet Building, Maejo University.

International College, Maejo University Strengthens Global Partnership through MOU Signing Ceremony with ECHO Asia Impact Center

The International College, Maejo University, organized a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) Signing Ceremony in collaboration with ECHO Asia Impact Center to strengthen international cooperation in academics, research, and sustainable development.On May 28, 2026, at LC 5, International College, Maejo University, the International College officially held the MOU Signing Ceremony with ECHO Asia Impact Center. The event was attended by university administrators, faculty members, staff, and representatives from both organizations.On this occasion, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rapeephun Dangtungee, Dean of the International College, Maejo University, delivered the welcome remarks and highlighted the importance of academic collaboration and international networking in supporting sustainable educational and social development.In addition, Mr. Patrick Trail shared the vision and future collaborative directions between the two organizations. Dr. Prakash Murgeppa Bhuyar also delivered a presentation on sustainable development approaches and future opportunities for knowledge exchange and joint activities.The signing ceremony marked another significant milestone in strengthening the partnership between the two institutions while promoting academic cooperation, research collaboration, capacity building, and international community engagement for a more sustainable future.
