On Friday, April 24, 2026, the International College organized a “Dam Hua” ceremony to honor two retired personnel: Dr. Chomchuan Boonrahong, former lecturer of the International College, and Miss Radaporn Thongma, former Director of the Dean’s Office. On this occasion, Associate Professor Dr. Rapeephun Dangtungee, Dean of the International College, delivered a speech on behalf of the college to offer apologies and seek blessings. Subsequently, faculty members and staff participated in the “Dam Hua” ceremony to demonstrate their respect, gratitude, and reverence toward the esteemed individuals, as well as to ask for forgiveness and receive blessings for auspiciousness during the Songkran Festival. The ceremony also aimed to preserve the valuable cultural traditions of the Lanna community. In addition, the ceremony included the paying of respects to other senior members of the International College, conducted in a formal and respectful manner

International College, Maejo University Strengthens Global Partnership through MOU Signing Ceremony with ECHO Asia Impact Center
The International College, Maejo University, organized a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) Signing Ceremony in collaboration with ECHO Asia Impact Center to strengthen international cooperation in academics, research, and sustainable development.On May 28, 2026, at LC 5, International College, Maejo University, the International College officially held the MOU Signing Ceremony with ECHO Asia Impact Center. The event was attended by university administrators, faculty members, staff, and representatives from both organizations.On this occasion, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rapeephun Dangtungee, Dean of the International College, Maejo University, delivered the welcome remarks and highlighted the importance of academic collaboration and international networking in supporting sustainable educational and social development.In addition, Mr. Patrick Trail shared the vision and future collaborative directions between the two organizations. Dr. Prakash Murgeppa Bhuyar also delivered a presentation on sustainable development approaches and future opportunities for knowledge exchange and joint activities.The signing ceremony marked another significant milestone in strengthening the partnership between the two institutions while promoting academic cooperation, research collaboration, capacity building, and international community engagement for a more sustainable future.
