On May 17–19, 2026, Assistant Professor Dr. Winitra Leelapattana and Dr. Suthira Sitthikun, Associate Deans of the International College, participated in the workshop entitled “Organizational Performance Excellence Management for Senior Leaders Based on the EdPEx Criteria,” held at Rajapruek Meeting Room 2, Royal Phuket City Hotel, Phuket Province.

The workshop aimed to enhance organizational management capabilities and promote operational excellence in accordance with the EdPEx framework in order to strengthen strategic leadership and sustainable organizational development in higher education institutions. The training covered strategic planning, performance management, organizational quality development, fostering a culture of excellence, and the application of the EdPEx criteria to improve institutional management efficiency and align operations with national and international standards.

In addition, participants had the opportunity to exchange knowledge and experiences with administrators and experts from various institutions, which contributed significantly to the development of organizational management approaches and the advancement of sustainable educational quality in the future.

Maejo University Strengthens Academic Collaboration with Universitas Brawijaya, Indonesia

On 28-29 Sept 2026Dr. Prakash Murgeppa Bhuyar, Assistant Dean, International College, Maejo University, recently participated in the Three-in-One Programme at Universitas Brawijaya, Indonesia. During the programme, Dr. Prakash engaged in a range of academic activities, including interactive lectures and student discussions, a Research Proposal Writing class, and a “Concept to Shelf: Food Packaging” session with 40+ students. He also delivered an International Guest Lecture, sharing academic knowledge and experiences with students from Indonesia. The visit also included courtesy meetings with university leadership and academic administrators, including the Dean, Vice Deans, administrators, and faculty members of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, with discussions focusing on future academic collaboration, joint activities, research, and international engagement. The programme provided a valuable platform for knowledge exchange, academic networking, friendship, and strengthening institutional collaboration between Universitas Brawijaya and Maejo University. Maejo University sincerely appreciates the warm hospitality and support extended by the Universitas Brawijaya community throughout the visit and looks forward to continued collaboration and future joint activities.

Maejo University Holds Ceremony to Commemorate Thai National Flag Day

On Thursday, October 1, 2026,Associate Professor Dr. Weerapon Thongma, President of Maejo University, led university executives, faculty members, staff, and student representatives in paying respect to the national flag and singing the Thai national anthem on the occasion of Thai National Flag Day. The ceremony aimed to promote national pride and commemorate the great royal benevolence of His Majesty King Vajiravudh (Rama VI), who bestowed the Tricolor Flag as Thailand’s national flag. The ceremony was held at the flagpole in front of Phra Pirun Song Nak at Maejo University, Chiang Mai.On this occasion, the International College, Maejo University, led by Associate Professor Dr. Rapeephun Dangtungee, Dean of the International College; Assistant Professor Dr. Winitra Leelapattana, Associate Dean of the International College; and Mr. Warunsiri Sujinda, Director of the Dean’s Office, participated in the ceremony together with the college’s faculty members and staff.Thai National Flag Day is observed to commemorate the occasion when His Majesty King Vajiravudh (Rama VI) graciously issued an amendment to the Flag Act, B.E. 2460 (1917), officially designating the Tricolor Flag (Thong Trairong) as Thailand’s national flag, which has remained in use to the present day. The announcement was issued on September 28, 1917.His Majesty defined the meanings of the colors of the Thai national flag as follows: red represents the nation and its people, white represents religion, and blue represents the monarchy. The Tricolor Flag is therefore regarded as an important national symbol and serves as a reminder to future generations of the sacrifices made by their ancestors to preserve the nation. It also represents the unity of the Thai people, reflecting love, solidarity, and pride in the nation, and inspiring collective strength and cooperation toward the continued development of Thailand.Photo Credit: MJU Corporate Communication Center

Executives, faculty members, and staff of the International College, Maejo University proudly participated in the annual Maejo–Sansai Walk–Run Tradition 2026 to warmly welcome the 91st Generation of Inthanin freshmen.This long-standing tradition brings together students, alumni, university personnel, and the local community in a 10.5-kilometer journey along the historic Maejo–Sansai Road. More than a walk or run, it represents unity, friendship, and the enduring spirit of the Maejo family.Welcome to the 91st Generation of Inthanin Freshmen. Closing Ceremony of the National Chung Hsing University (NCHU) Summer Program

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rapeephun Dangtungee, Dean of the International College; Asst. Prof. Dr. Winitra Leelapattana; Dr. Suthira Sitthikun; and Dr. Prakash Murgeppa Bhuyar, Assistant Dean, together with faculty members from the International College, Maejo University, participated in the closing ceremony of the National Chung Hsing University (NCHU) Summer Program.During the ceremony, the students delivered presentations reflecting on their learning experiences throughout the program. They also shared their perspectives on the cultural differences they observed between Thailand and Taiwan. The event was filled with a warm and memorable atmosphere, fostering friendship and mutual understanding among students and faculty members. In the final segment of the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rapeephun Dangtungee, Dean of the International College, presented certificates to the participating students in recognition of their successful completion of the program. She also encouraged them to apply the knowledge and
